Today I had breakfast with a few others in the real estate business here in the county. It was fascinating because Harry Woolley, Commercial Lender for Wells Fargo, out of their Frisco office lead the conversation. Harry has been in various aspects of banking his entire career. He went through the Savings and Loan mess and everything else over the past 30 years. I learned a ton.
In a nutshell - the impact locally is simple: if you have a strong credit score, over 700 (720+ is ideal), the lenders are looking for you, they have money and they want to lend to you.
