"In the past 12 months I visited 21 ski resorts in 7 countries on behalf of the Russian ski resort developers I work with", a direct quote from Roger McCarthy when we had breakfast together yesterday.
Just in case you might be confused Roger is on the left and I am holding the camera (this time a high quality Nikon). Catching up with Roger was both a joy and fortunate. He was in Breckenridge CO just a couple of days. He left yesterday for San Francisco and the National Ski Areas Association annual conference then on to Vancouver.
"How does Breckenridge compare?", I just had to know. Roger said the two areas we lead the word in are service standards and trail grooming (keep in mind he is an operations guy through and through). And in regard to real estate... "Breckenridge is getting there", he said. That was just the first few minutes of our chat. More to come in another blog posting.
